Simha Lagana (Sthir Lagana ) = 02.11 am to 4.19 ( 20-10-2017) ( Note :- Simha langna is a good time to do Lakshmi Pooja , but this time is coming after the Amavasya is over )
Amavasya Tithi Begins = 00:14 on 19-10-2017
Amavasya Tithi Ends = 00:42 on 20-10-2017
Rahu Kalam : 13:49 – 15:16 on 19-10-2017 ( avoid doing pooja during this time )
Diwali 2017 Simple Lakshmi Pooja Vidhi –
With your family sit before Lakshmi Maa’s Idol or Photograph.
1) Give Panchamrit snan (bath) to Devi Maa,
2) Offer Aasan to Devi Maa
2) Light diya
3) Light Incense stick
4) Offer naivedya ( eg- dry fruits, sweets etc.) to Devi Maa
5) Offer flowers to Devi Maa
7) Listen to Lakshmi Sahastranam
